Guardian Pro offers three subscription plans to match the needs of organizations at every stage -- from small teams managing a handful of AWS accounts to enterprises governing complex multi-account environments. All plans are billed through AWS Marketplace as part of your consolidated AWS bill.

Starter Plan
The Starter plan is designed for small teams or individual developers who need foundational AWS governance without enterprise complexity.

Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade your Guardian Pro subscription:
- Navigate to Settings > Subscription in the Guardian Pro console.
- Review your current plan and available upgrade options.
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to.
- Confirm the upgrade.
Alternatively, you can manage your subscription directly through the AWS Marketplace.

Upgrades take effect immediately. You gain instant access to all features included in the new plan. Billing is adjusted on a pro-rated basis for the current billing period.
Downgrading Your Plan
Plan downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. When downgrading:
- Features not included in the new plan will become unavailable at the end of the current period.
- Data collected by higher-plan features (e.g., compliance data for frameworks not included in the lower plan) is retained but not actively updated.
- If you exceed the account limit of the lower plan, you will be prompted to remove accounts before the downgrade takes effect.

Before downgrading, review which features you will lose and ensure your governance needs are still met by the lower plan.
Billing
- All plans are billed through AWS Marketplace on your consolidated AWS bill.
- No separate invoices, payment methods, or procurement processes required.
- Billing is monthly with no long-term commitment required.
- Annual billing with a discount may be available for Enterprise customers -- contact sales.
